...Anime Expo does have online coverage of sorts in the form of AX Backstage.  At the con, our convention hotel room had a TV channel dedicated to materials that were said to be part of AX Backstage.  I much prefer the real thing.  I only wish I had more time in the dealers room to spend more money if you can believe it.  I don't say that often as I usually find a way to "tap out".  But encumberance does become an issue still, no matter my financial situation.  
     Speaking of cons, Otakon is this weekend, across the country where I can't get to it.  I'll have to settle for a couple days of Azkatraz 2009, the San Francisco Harry Potter Symposium and con this weekend.  I have a wand and holster to go with it.  It's July 18-21 at the Parc 55 Hotel at   55 Cyril Magnin Street in downtown San Francisco.  (I think I had brunch there once years ago.)
